Issue:

Our client had a surplus inventory of new can openers and wanted to find a market for them outside the UK.

Solution:

Active negotiated a deal with a German retailer. The can openers were delivered to a repackaging company to make the goods compliant with German language and standards. All the goods were delivered and sold through retail outlets.

Benefit:

The client spent their Trade Credit as part-payment for TV advertising and printing services and over six years generated Extra Value in excess of £1m.
